Ration Dealer Held in Rs 53 Lakh Ballia Foodgrain Scam

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has arrested a ration dealer, Jaleshwar Ram, in connection with the Ballia foodgrain scam. The scam involved the alleged misappropriation of government foodgrains worth Rs 53.50 lakh between 2002 and 2005. Ram allegedly facilitated the diversion of foodgrains by showing distribution to fictitious labourers using forged muster rolls. This resulted in a loss of Rs 53.5 lakh to the government. A total of 43 cases were registered related to this scam.

53 लाख के बलिया अनाज घोटाले में राशन डीलर गिरफ्तार ईओडब्ल्यू ने की कार्रवाई

आर्थिक अपराध शाखा (EOW) ने बलिया अनाज घोटाले के संबंध में एक राशन डीलर, जलेश्वर राम को गिरफ्तार किया है। इस घोटाले में कथित तौर पर 2002 और 2005 के बीच 53.50 लाख रुपये के सरकारी अनाज की हेराफेरी शामिल थी। राम पर कथित तौर पर जाली मस्टर रोल का उपयोग करके फर्जी मजदूरों को अनाज वितरण दिखाकर उसे डायवर्ट करने की सुविधा प्रदान की गई थी। इसके परिणामस्वरूप सरकार को 53.5 लाख रुपये का नुकसान हुआ। इस घोटाले से संबंधित कुल 43 मामले दर्ज किए गए थे।
