India's Ship Building Capacity Less Than 1%

China builds 55% of the world's ships, while India's share is less than 1%, according to PM's advisor Sanjeev Sanyal. He highlighted that India possesses advantages like a large labor force and a strong steel industry but faces structural hurdles hindering growth. Sanyal urged India to seriously enhance its shipbuilding capacity, emphasizing the need to leverage its strategic maritime location and involve the private sector more actively.

प्रधानमंत्री के सलाहकार संजीव सान्याल ने बताया कि दुनिया के 55% जहाज चीन बनाता है, जबकि भारत का हिस्सा 1% से भी कम है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के पास बड़ी लेबर फोर्स और मजबूत स्टील इंडस्ट्री जैसे फायदे हैं, लेकिन कुछ दिक्कतें विकास रोक रही हैं। सान्याल ने भारत से अपनी जहाज बनाने की क्षमता बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें अपने समुद्री फायदे का इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए और प्राइवेट सेक्टर को और जोड़ना चाहिए।
