Goa's IT Minister Rohan Khaunte announced a three-week global pop-up village in Mandrem, aiming to foster innovation and attract global entrepreneurs. This initiative aligns with Goa's vision to become India's creative capital, strengthening its technology and startup ecosystem. The event is expected to draw around 800 participants from India and over 60 countries. Khaunte emphasized that the program will enable local students and businesses to engage with global practitioners, complementing the state's 'Work from Goa' initiative and promoting longer-stay tourism.

गोवा के IT मंत्री रोहन खूंटे ने मैंड्रेम में तीन हफ़्ते के ग्लोबल पॉप-अप विलेज की घोषणा की है, जिसका लक्ष्य इनोवेशन को बढ़ावा देना और ग्लोबल उद्यमियों को आकर्षित करना है। यह पहल गोवा के भारत की क्रिएटिव कैपिटल बनने के विजन के साथ मेल खाती है, जिससे इसके टेक्नोलॉजी और स्टार्टअप इकोसिस्टम को मजबूती मिलेगी। इस कार्यक्रम में भारत और 60 से ज़्यादा देशों के करीब 800 प्रतिभागियों के आने की उम्मीद है। खूंटे ने इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया कि यह प्रोग्राम स्थानीय छात्रों और व्यवसायों को ग्लोबल प्रैक्टिशनर्स के साथ जुड़ने का मौका देगा, जो राज्य की 'वर्क फ्रॉम गोवा' पहल का पूरक होगा और लंबे समय तक रुकने वाले टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा देगा।
