SC directs EC to decide TMC symbol case

The Supreme Court has directed the Election Commission to make a final decision within three months regarding the Trinamool Congress's name and symbol. The court stated that three months is sufficient time for the EC to resolve the dispute over the party's name and its 'flower and grass' election symbol. All parties involved have been instructed to submit their arguments and documents within four weeks. The Election Commission will then proceed to make a final decision under Paragraph 15 of the Election Symbols Order.
