Akhilesh Yadav Alleges BJP, ECI Manipulating Voter Rolls

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has accused the BJP and the Election Commission of India of undermining democracy by manipulating electoral rolls. He released a booklet alleging the ECI acts on the BJP's behalf, especially where the ruling party fears losing. Yadav claimed his party identified over 19.20 lakh fake voters and highlighted discrepancies in the revision process, demanding the Chief Election Commissioner's resignation. He urged party workers to monitor booths to prevent fake enrolments and suggested linking Aadhaar with electoral rolls to curb fraud.

समाजवादी पार्टी के मुखिया अखिलेश यादव ने बीजेपी और चुनाव आयोग (ECI) पर चुनावी पर्चियों में हेरफेर करके लोकतंत्र को कमजोर करने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने एक पुस्तिका जारी कर दावा किया कि ECI, बीजेपी के कहने पर काम करती है, खासकर उन जगहों पर जहाँ सत्ताधारी पार्टी हारने से डरती है। यादव ने कहा कि उनकी पार्टी ने 19.20 लाख से ज़्यादा फर्जी वोटरों की पहचान की है और पर्ची संशोधन प्रक्रिया में गड़बड़ियों को उजागर किया है, और मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के इस्तीफे की मांग की है।
