Bihar's Lakhisarai to Develop Flower Village, Offering Farmers Up to ₹40,000 Subsidy

Lakhisarai district in Bihar is set to develop a 'Flower Village' to promote marigold cultivation. Under the Horticulture Directorate's scheme, farmers will receive up to 50% subsidy on cultivation costs, amounting to a maximum of ₹40,000 per hectare. The government has set the cost at ₹80,000 per hectare, with subsidies available for both landowners and leaseholders. This initiative aims to increase marigold farming acreage and boost farmers' income within a 25-hectare cluster in Ramgarh and Chanan blocks.

बिहार के लखीसराय जिले में गेंदा की खेती को बढ़ावा देने के लिए 'फूलों का गांव' विकसित किया जाएगा। बागवानी निदेशालय की योजना के तहत, किसानों को खेती की लागत पर 50% तक की सब्सिडी मिलेगी, जो प्रति हेक्टेयर अधिकतम 40,000 रुपये होगी। सरकार ने प्रति हेक्टेयर लागत 80,000 रुपये तय की है, और जमीन के मालिकों और पट्टेदारों दोनों के लिए सब्सिडी उपलब्ध होगी। इस पहल का उद्देश्य रामगढ़ और चानन ब्लॉक में 25 हेक्टेयर के क्लस्टर के भीतर गेंदा की खेती का रकबा बढ़ाना और किसानों की आय में वृद्धि करना है।
