The Pakistani cricket team surprised fans by wearing pink jerseys instead of their traditional green during a One Day International match in Lahore. This change was part of 'Pinktober,' an initiative by the PCB to raise awareness about breast cancer. Players, officials, and staff also wore pink ribbons to show solidarity with the cause. PCB COO Sumair Ahmed Syed stated the board recognizes its social responsibility through cricket's influence. The match itself saw England struggling, with Pakistan's bowlers, particularly Shaheen Afridi, taking key wickets.
