CJI assures equal treatment for all parties

CJI DY Chandrachud stated that all parties are treated equally in the Supreme Court. This assurance came during an oral mention by advocate Mr. Bhatia regarding Rahul Gandhi's plea. The plea challenges criminal proceedings stemming from alleged remarks by Mr. Gandhi concerning the Army and the 2020 Galwan border clash.

चीफ जस्टिस डी.वाई. चंद्रचूड़ ने कहा कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट में सभी पार्टियों के साथ एक जैसा व्यवहार होता है। यह बात वकील मिस्टर भाटिया द्वारा राहुल गांधी की एक अर्जी पर मौखिक उल्लेख के दौरान कही गई। यह अर्जी कथित तौर पर सेना और 2020 के गलवान सीमा झड़प को लेकर मिस्टर गांधी की टिप्पणियों से जुड़े आपराधिक कार्यवाही को चुनौती देती है।
