Manipur Violence: Militants Kill Two Naga Community Members

In Manipur's Kangpokpi district, militants killed two members of the Naga community and injured two others. The victims were identified as Rocky Mao and Kumar Paumai. The injured individuals, Adani Mainyo and Ashiho Sani, are receiving treatment. Meanwhile, security forces arrested three individuals, including a militant from a banned organization, for alleged extortion activities in Imphal East and Thoubal districts. This incident occurs amidst ongoing ethnic conflict that has claimed over 306 lives since May 2023.

मणिपुर के कांगपोकपी जिले में उग्रवादियों ने नागा समुदाय के 2 लोगों को मार डाला और 2 को घायल कर दिया। मारे गए लोगों की पहचान रॉकी माओ और कुमार पौमई के तौर पर हुई है। घायल अडानी मैन्य़ो और अशीहो सानी का इलाज चल रहा है। वहीं, सुरक्षा बलों ने इम्फाल ईस्ट और थोउबल जिलों में वसूली के आरोप में एक प्रतिबंधित संगठन के उग्रवादी समेत 3 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। यह घटना मई 2023 से जारी जातीय संघर्ष के बीच हुई है, जिसमें 306 से ज़्यादा लोगों की जान जा चुकी है।
