Husband Kills Wife Over Water Dispute, Attempts Suicide

In Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, a man allegedly murdered his wife following an argument over filling water. The accused, identified as Kamal Kathote, reportedly attacked his wife Aarti with a kitchen knife multiple times, causing fatal injuries. After the incident, Kamal attempted to end his life by jumping into a well, but neighbours rescued him. He is currently hospitalized and under police watch. The couple has a three-year-old daughter who has lost her mother, while her father is undergoing treatment.

मध्य प्रदेश के बालाघाट में, पानी भरने को लेकर हुए झगड़े के बाद एक आदमी ने कथित तौर पर अपनी पत्नी की हत्या कर दी। आरोपी, जिसकी पहचान कमल कठोते के रूप में हुई है, ने कथित तौर पर अपनी पत्नी आरती पर रसोई के चाकू से कई बार हमला किया, जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई। घटना के बाद, कमल ने कुएं में कूदकर अपनी जान देने की कोशिश की, लेकिन पड़ोसियों ने उसे बचा लिया। वह वर्तमान में अस्पताल में है और पुलिस की निगरानी में है। दंपति की तीन साल की बेटी है जिसने अपनी माँ को खो दिया है, जबकि उसके पिता का इलाज चल रहा है।
