BEST Must Reveal Repairs on Mumbai Buses, Says Shiv Sena (UBT) Member

UBT committee member has demanded that the BEST undertaking reveal details of repairs made to its buses. He alleges that defective buses are being returned to service without critical technical issues being addressed, citing previous complaints and an ordered inquiry with no clear outcome. The member claims around 774 buses were recently found defective and seeks disclosure of repair records, particularly for brakes, batteries, and gear assemblies.

यूबीटी के एक समिति सदस्य ने मांग की है कि BEST उपक्रम अपनी बसों की मरम्मत का विवरण सार्वजनिक करे। उनका आरोप है कि गंभीर तकनीकी समस्याओं को ठीक किए बिना ही खराब बसों को फिर से सेवा में लाया जा रहा है, उन्होंने पिछली शिकायतों और बिना किसी स्पष्ट परिणाम वाली जांच का भी जिक्र किया। सदस्य का दावा है कि हाल ही में लगभग 774 बसें खराब पाई गई थीं और वह मरम्मत के रिकॉर्ड, खासकर ब्रेक, बैटरी और गियर असेंबली के बारे में जानकारी चाहते हैं।
