She stated that Gandhi would have to apologise for his accusations regarding IDBI, just as he did for the Rafale issue. Gandhi had accused the Modi government of selling off institutions established by the Congress for industrial development. Sitharaman countered by listing past instances of alleged Congress-driven financial mismanagement and loan irregularities, asserting the NDA government revived IDBI Bank.
