A 27-year-old Hyderabad advocate was allegedly blackmailed and extorted of Rs 5 crore by a fraudster met on a dating app. The accused, posing as a woman named Disha, threatened to leak personal chats to the advocate's family and social media. Initially seeking money for funeral expenses, the accused later demanded more, claiming to be transgender. The advocate paid over Rs 5 crore through online transactions and cash, before reporting the incident.
