The Congress party drew a blank in the recent MLC elections held for 28 seats across Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, and Karnataka. Following the results, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a sharp dig at the Congress, posting on X, "Congress won how many seats out of 28? '0' Ballot Box Resign.". Prime Minister Narendra Modi also previously questioned the Congress's performance in elections. Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera challenged the Prime Minister to conduct future Lok Sabha and Assembly elections via ballot paper if he doubts EVMs.
