Former Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane stated that while India faces challenging neighbours on its west and north, constant conflict is not inevitable. He emphasized that dialogue should be India's primary approach to resolving disputes, especially with China, where the border is not fully demarcated. Naravane noted that post-Galwan clash, India's stance has strengthened, making military solutions to border disputes with China unviable. He asserted that unilateral attempts to alter borders through force are unacceptable, leading to renewed momentum for peaceful resolutions through talks.
