Odisha Forest Officials Arrest Three For Leopard Poaching and Trade

Forest officials in Odisha have arrested three individuals in connection with the killing and illegal trade of leopard body parts. The arrests followed the seizure of leopard claws, teeth, antelope skulls, and other wildlife organs from one suspect, identified as Digambar Kanhar, who is believed to be a hunter. Two traders, Amitabhachan Pradhan and Tophan Pradhan, were also apprehended for their alleged involvement in the wildlife organ trade. Kanhar confessed to killing two leopards, and the investigation is ongoing to uncover the full extent of the poaching network.
