Prayagraj Railway Division Collects Over ₹6.35 Crore in Fines During September

The Prayagraj division of North Central Railway has collected over ₹6.35 crore in fines during September through an intensive ticket-checking drive. A total of 69,640 passengers were penalised for various violations, including travelling without valid tickets, irregular tickets, unbooked luggage, smoking, and cleanliness issues. Prayagraj station recorded the highest number of cases and fines, collecting ₹2.05 crore. The railway administration urges passengers to travel with valid tickets and maintain cleanliness, with similar drives planned to continue.

उत्तर मध्य रेलवे के प्रयागराज मंडल ने टिकट चेकिंग के सघन अभियान के ज़रिए सितंबर महीने में ₹6.35 करोड़ से ज़्यादा का जुर्माना वसूला है। कुल 69,640 यात्रियों पर बिना वैध टिकट, अनियमित टिकट, अनबुक्ड लगेज, धूम्रपान और सफ़ाई संबंधी नियमों के उल्लंघन के लिए जुर्माना लगाया गया। प्रयागराज स्टेशन पर सबसे ज़्यादा मामले और जुर्माना दर्ज किया गया, जहाँ ₹2.05 करोड़ वसूले गए। रेलवे प्रशासन यात्रियों से वैध टिकट लेकर सफ़र करने और सफ़ाई बनाए रखने की अपील करता है, और ऐसे अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेंगे।
