Congress MP Counters KTR On State Power Sector

Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday refuted BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao's accusations regarding the state's power sector. Reddy alleged the BRS was politicising farmer issues and creating a false impression of a power crisis. He stated that free power for farmers was a Congress initiative and accused the previous BRS government of leaving power distribution companies with nearly ₹81,000 crore in debt and causing financial losses through irregular contracts.
