Mohali Municipal Corporation Begins ₹3 Crore Road Reconstruction After Resident Protest

The Mohali municipal corporation has started the reconstruction of the Phase 3–5 road, a project estimated to cost ₹3 crore, following a recent resident protest. Mayor Sarabjit Singh Samana confirmed the civic body fulfilled its commitment to residents who had demonstrated over the road's poor condition. The project includes upgrading street lighting along the stretch. Samana attributed the delay to a non-operational construction plant but stated operations have now resumed. The MC is also assessing other roads for repairs across Mohali.
