US Army Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia, the Pentagon's top military planner, has admitted to sharing classified information regarding Iran and Ukraine with two journalists over approximately one year. An internal Pentagon investigation report, obtained by Axios, revealed that Sylvia made unauthorized disclosures beginning as early as June 2025. He acknowledged these disclosures on video after failing multiple polygraph tests. The general cooperated with investigators, providing his personal phone for examination.
