Patna Municipal Corporation Allocates Rs 19 Crore For Chhath Ghat Facelift

PMC has earmarked Rs 19 crore to upgrade over 200 Chhath ghats across the city before the festival. The comprehensive facelift includes repairing approach roads, removing slush, cleaning ghats, and improving lighting and parking facilities. Mayor Sita Sahu stated that all work will be completed. Preparations will also extend to ponds in parks and residential areas, with temporary ghats and changing rooms provided as needed. This initiative aims to ensure devotees can safely access riverfronts and ghats, especially after recent flood concerns.

पटना नगर निगम छठ घाटों को चमकाने के लिए 19 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित करेगा

पटना नगर निगम (PMC) ने छठ पूजा से पहले शहर भर में 200 से अधिक छठ घाटों को बेहतर बनाने के लिए 19 करोड़ रुपये अलग रखे हैं। इस व्यापक सुधार में पहुंच सड़कों की मरम्मत, कीचड़ हटाना, घाटों की सफाई और प्रकाश तथा पार्किंग सुविधाओं में सुधार शामिल है। मेयर सीता साहू ने कहा कि सारा काम पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। पार्कों और आवासीय क्षेत्रों में तालाबों की भी तैयारी की जाएगी, जहां जरूरत पड़ने पर अस्थायी घाट और चेंजिंग रूम उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे। इस पहल का उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि भक्तों को नदी किनारे और घाटों तक सुरक्षित पहुंच मिले, खासकर हाल की बाढ़ की चिंताओं के बाद।
