A 25-year-old homemaker, B. Lavanya, tragically died on Saturday, October 10, after being run over by a bus in Malakpet. The incident occurred when the two-wheeler she was travelling on with her husband, B. Srikanth, skidded near the D-Mart Signal. Lavanya fell from the vehicle and came under the rear tyre of a passing bus, sustaining fatal injuries. Police have seized the bus and taken its driver into custody, with further legal proceedings underway.
