GST Collections Surge 23% to Over ₹2.31 Lakh Crore in October

GST collections in October surged by 23% to over ₹2.31 lakh crore, driven by robust domestic sales and imports. Domestic sales contributed over ₹1.59 lakh crore, marking a 16% increase, while import revenues saw a significant 42% jump to ₹72,246 crore. Net GST collections, after accounting for refunds, rose by 26% to over ₹2.03 lakh crore. For the April-October period, gross GST collections grew 13.2% to over ₹14.77 lakh crore, indicating a healthy economic trend.
