Father Dies by Suicide Two Weeks After Daughter's Accidental Death

A 43-year-old man in Tamil Nadu died by suicide two weeks after his three-year-old daughter was killed in a road accident. The man, Ramu, reportedly died hours after performing the 16th-day rituals for his daughter. His daughter had fallen from a motorcycle and was run over by a tractor. Ramu had been inconsolable since the accident. Police have registered a case and are investigating the death.

तमिलनाडु में एक 43 साल के आदमी ने अपनी तीन साल की बेटी की सड़क दुर्घटना में मौत के दो हफ्ते बाद खुदकुशी कर ली। रामू नाम के इस आदमी ने कथित तौर पर अपनी बेटी के 16वें दिन के संस्कार करने के कुछ घंटे बाद दम तोड़ दिया। उसकी बेटी मोटरसाइकिल से गिर गई थी और एक ट्रैक्टर ने उसे कुचल दिया था। रामू बेटी की मौत के बाद से बेहाल था। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर लिया है और इस मौत की जांच कर रही है।
