BMC Removes Over 52,000 Unauthorised Banners and Posters in Mumbai

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has removed 52,448 unauthorised banners, flex boards, and posters across Mumbai between January 1 and October 16 this year. This action is part of an ongoing campaign against illegal advertisements in public spaces. During a special drive from October 8 to 16, approximately 3,537 unauthorised advertisements were seized. The BMC has also filed four FIRs and submitted 333 complaints to the police for legal action against violators.

ब्रिहनमुंबई म्युनिसिपल कॉर्पोरेशन (बीएमसी) ने इस साल 1 जनवरी से 16 अक्टूबर के बीच मुंबई भर से 52,448 अवैध बैनर, फ्लेक्स बोर्ड और पोस्टर हटा दिए हैं। यह कार्रवाई सार्वजनिक जगहों पर अवैध विज्ञापनों के खिलाफ चल रहे अभियान का हिस्सा है। 8 से 16 अक्टूबर तक चले एक विशेष अभियान के दौरान, लगभग 3,537 अवैध विज्ञापनों को जब्त किया गया। बीएमसी ने उल्लंघनकर्ताओं के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई के लिए चार एफआईआर दर्ज की हैं और पुलिस में 333 शिकायतें भी दर्ज कराई हैं।
