They seek concrete decisions on wage hikes, gratuity benefits, and promotions. The union has also demanded an increase in honorarium, implementation of Supreme Court gratuity rulings, expedited promotions, a ₹5 lakh insurance scheme, and increased annual increments. Workers highlighted their vital role in child care and women's welfare, stating their demands remain unresolved.

लुधियाना में आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं ने विधायक मदन लाल बग्गा को एक ज्ञापन सौंपा है, जिसमें मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान से 26 अक्टूबर को उनकी बैठक में शामिल होने का आग्रह किया गया है। वे वेतन वृद्धि, ग्रेच्युटी लाभ और पदोन्नति पर ठोस निर्णय चाहते हैं। यूनियन ने मानदेय में वृद्धि, सुप्रीम कोर्ट के ग्रेच्युटी निर्णयों को लागू करने, त्वरित पदोन्नति, ₹5 लाख की बीमा योजना और वार्षिक वेतन वृद्धि में वृद्धि की भी मांग की है। कार्यकर्ताओं ने बाल देखभाल और महिला कल्याण में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला और कहा कि उनकी मांगें अनसुलझी बनी हुई हैं।
