Deoria Teacher Arrested for Molesting Girls at Primary School

A 48-year-old government school assistant teacher, Mainullah Siddiqui, has been arrested in Deoria district for allegedly molesting three girl students aged between eight and 10 years. The incident occurred when Siddiqui was in charge of the primary school. He allegedly engaged in obscene acts, urinated in the classroom, and consumed alcohol in front of the students. An FIR was registered, and the accused was arrested on Tuesday. The Basic Shiksha Adhikari has suspended Siddiqui and initiated departmental action against an official for delaying the report.
