Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas Sell BSE Shares Worth

Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas divested over 68 lakh shares of BSE worth approximately Rs 2,186 crore in bulk deals. This significant sale occurred just before BSE's scheduled inclusion in the benchmark Nifty 50 index. UTI Mutual Fund and Nippon India Mutual Fund were among the major buyers, acquiring substantial stakes. The stock exchange's entry into the Nifty 50 is anticipated to attract considerable passive buying interest from index funds.
