Bengal CM Inaugurates Nutrition Scheme For Tribal Families

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has launched a new nutrition support scheme for eligible tribal families in Jhargram and Paschim Medinipur districts. Under this initiative, families will receive weekly rations of rice, pulses, cooking oil, and soya chunks. This program is in addition to existing government schemes and aims to ensure no one from tribal communities is deprived of nutritious food. The scheme, announced in the state budget, will benefit 70,000 families and includes biometric verification for eligibility.

पश्चिम बंगाल की मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने झारग्राम और पश्चिम मेदिनीपुर जिलों में योग्य आदिवासी परिवारों के लिए एक नई पोषण सहायता योजना शुरू की है। इस पहल के तहत, परिवारों को चावल, दाल, खाना पकाने का तेल और सोया चंक्स का साप्ताहिक राशन मिलेगा। यह कार्यक्रम मौजूदा सरकारी योजनाओं के अतिरिक्त है और इसका उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि आदिवासी समुदायों का कोई भी व्यक्ति पौष्टिक भोजन से वंचित न रहे। राज्य बजट में घोषित इस योजना से 70,000 परिवारों को लाभ होगा और इसमें पात्रता के लिए बायोमेट्रिक सत्यापन शामिल है।
