Delhi Court Disposes of JNU Professor's Anticipatory Bail Plea in Sexual Harassment Case

A Delhi court has disposed of the anticipatory bail plea of JNU professor Angomcha Bimol Akoijam in a sexual harassment case. Delhi Police informed the court that there is no immediate plan to arrest him, but a seven-day notice would be served if new developments necessitate it. The court directed Akoijam to cooperate with the investigation and provide contact details of two known persons.
