IAS-IPS Couple Under Scrutiny For Buying 40 Villas; Wife Also Awaiting Posting Orders

A senior IPS officer, Dr. Prashakha Mathur, has been made APO (Awaiting Posting Orders) following her IAS husband, Shikhar Agarwal, who was previously given the same administrative action. The couple and their family members reportedly purchased 40 villas and cottages in Udaipur and Alwar for over ₹6.16 crore within approximately two and a half years. These properties were then leased back to the same company from which they were bought. The Anti-Corruption Bureau is currently investigating the purchase, lease agreements, and income sources related to these assets.

एक वरिष्ठ IPS अधिकारी, डॉ. प्राशाखा माथुर, को APO (Awaiting Posting Orders) कर दिया गया है। उनके IAS पति, शिखर अग्रवाल, को पहले ही इसी तरह की प्रशासनिक कार्रवाई का सामना करना पड़ा था। बताया जा रहा है कि दंपति और उनके परिवार के सदस्यों ने लगभग ढाई साल में उदयपुर और अलवर में 40 विला और कॉटेज ₹6.16 करोड़ से अधिक में खरीदे थे। ये संपत्तियां फिर उसी कंपनी को लीज पर दे दी गईं जिससे वे खरीदी गई थीं। भ्रष्टाचार निरोधक ब्यूरो (Anti-Corruption Bureau) वर्तमान में इन संपत्तियों से संबंधित खरीद, लीज समझौतों और आय के स्रोतों की जांच कर रहा है।
