A man in Bihar's Gopalganj district has dug his own grave right next to his mother's, fulfilling a lifelong desire to remain near her even after death. Manzoor Hasan's mother passed away in June 1999, and he has spent most of his time at her grave since then. He fears being buried far from her and has also purchased a green shroud, a color he loves and associates with tradition. Hasan has also built a mosque, school, and madrasa in his village, earning him immense respect.

बिहार के गोपालगंज जिले में एक आदमी ने अपनी माँ की कब्र के ठीक बगल में अपनी कब्र खुदवाई है। यह उसकी ज़िंदगी भर की ख्वाहिश थी कि मरने के बाद भी वह अपनी माँ के करीब रहे। मंज़ूर हसन की माँ का निधन जून 1999 में हुआ था, और तब से वह ज़्यादातर समय उनकी कब्र पर ही बिताते हैं। उन्हें डर है कि उन्हें माँ से दूर दफनाया जाएगा। उन्होंने हरे रंग का कफ़न भी खरीद लिया है, जो उन्हें पसंद है और जिसे वे परंपरा से जोड़ते हैं। हसन ने अपने गाँव में एक मस्जिद, स्कूल और मदरसा भी बनवाया है, जिससे उन्हें बहुत इज़्ज़त मिली है।
