The Congress-led INDIA bloc will stage a major protest in Delhi to safeguard people's voting rights amid allegations of irregularities in electoral roll revisions. Congress leader KC Venugopal accused Prime Minister Modi of nearing his downfall and fearing opposition protests, citing security curbs in Delhi to manage demonstrators. The opposition is concerned over reports of over 13 crore names being deleted from electoral rolls and scrutiny of the Chief Election Commissioner. The bloc submitted a memorandum to President Droupadi Murmu regarding these issues.
