Bageshwar Dham head priest Dhirendra Krishna Shastri has apologised for his recent remarks comparing Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. Speaking from Nairobi, Kenya, Shastri stated he had no intention of insulting any deity or suggesting superiority. The controversy arose from comments made during a Ram Katha in Madhya Pradesh, where he discussed the deities' different postures and associated locations. His remarks, which circulated online, drew objections from religious figures in Mathura and Vrindavan, prompting his humble apology for any hurt sentiments.
