US Congressman Swims To Safety After Plane Crash

Wisconsin Congressman Tom Tiffany sustained minor injuries after the small plane he was travelling in made an emergency landing on Lake Wausau on Saturday night. The aircraft encountered a mechanical issue, forcing the pilot to land on the water. Tiffany and the pilot exited the submerging plane and swam to safety, awaiting rescue by boat. Both individuals suffered minor injuries. The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the incident.
