Kerala HC Orders CBI Probe Into 14-Year-Old Missing Soldier Case

The Kerala High Court has directed the CBI to investigate the 14-year-old disappearance of a Tripura State Rifles soldier. The order came after a petition by the soldier's father, who last saw his son Subash Chandra Bose at Ernakulam railway station in April 2012. Bose went missing while travelling from leave, with his father receiving a final call from an unknown number. The court emphasized society's responsibility to soldiers and stated that a premier agency like the CBI should not adopt a pessimistic view, even after 14 years.

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने CBI को त्रिपुरा स्टेट राइफल्स के एक सैनिक के 14 साल से लापता होने की जांच करने का निर्देश दिया है। यह आदेश सैनिक के पिता की याचिका के बाद आया है, जिन्होंने आखिरी बार अपने बेटे सुभास चंद्र बोस को अप्रैल 2012 में एर्नाकुलम रेलवे स्टेशन पर देखा था। बोस छुट्टी से लौटते समय लापता हो गए थे, और उनके पिता को एक अज्ञात नंबर से आखिरी कॉल आया था। अदालत ने सैनिकों के प्रति समाज की जिम्मेदारी पर जोर दिया और कहा कि CBI जैसी प्रमुख एजेंसी को 14 साल बाद भी निराशावादी दृष्टिकोण नहीं अपनाना चाहिए।
