Western Command will host a Mechanisation Technology Seminar 2.0-15, 2026, themed 'CHAKRA: Transforming Existing Platforms for Future Combat'. The seminar aims to increase the capability of current military assets through new technologies and indigenous solutions. This initiative focuses on upgrading older weapons and equipment, boosting self-reliance and operational readiness. Experts from the army, defence industry, and academia will collaborate to develop practical technological solutions.
