Startup Sagar Defence Grows From Tiny Workspace To Navy's Swarm Boat Provider

Sagar Defence, founded in 2015, has transformed from a 150 sq ft Mumbai workspace into a leading defence company with R&D and manufacturing facilities in Pune and Andhra Pradesh. Despite facing numerous setbacks, including founder Capt Nikunj Parashar surviving two heart attacks and a stroke, the company now supplies swarm boats and unmanned systems to the Indian armed forces. They are currently delivering 12 armed unmanned surface vessels to the Indian Navy under a contract, featuring advanced weaponry and autonomous capabilities.
