Delhi Seizes 948 Liters of Adulterated Ghee; CM Vows Year-Long Crackdown

Delhi authorities have seized 948.9 liters of adulterated ghee during raids across the capital as part of an ongoing campaign against food adulteration. Operations were conducted in Bhogal, Najafgarh, and Shiv Vihar markets, with 15 samples collected for laboratory testing. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated the crackdown, aimed at protecting public health, will continue year-round. The government is also enhancing the food safety department's capabilities with modern technology and increased staff to ensure timely action against irregularities.

दिल्ली के अधिकारियों ने मिलावट के खिलाफ चल रहे अभियान के तहत राजधानी में छापेमारी के दौरान 948.9 लीटर मिलावटी घी जब्त किया है। भोगल, नजफगढ़ और शिव विहार बाजारों में अभियान चलाए गए, जहां प्रयोगशाला परीक्षण के लिए 15 नमूने एकत्र किए गए। मुख्यमंत्री रेखा गुप्ता ने कहा कि जन स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा के उद्देश्य से यह कार्रवाई साल भर जारी रहेगी। सरकार समय पर अनियमितताओं के खिलाफ कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आधुनिक तकनीक और बढ़े हुए कर्मचारियों के साथ खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग की क्षमताओं को भी बढ़ा रही है।
