Temple Priest and Another Man Arrested For Hundi Theft Cases

Two men have been accused in separate hundi theft cases at the Arulmigu Subramaniya Swamy Temple in Tiruchendur. One accused, identified as Muthan, a 74-year-old archakar, was arrested and later released on station bail due to his age and ill health. The other accused, 58-year-old Murugan from Puducherry, was arrested for stealing Rs 10,000 and remanded in judicial custody. Both cases were registered on October 16, with thefts allegedly occurring between October 2 and 8.
