Delhi Police have de-notified Jantar Mantar as a designated protest venue, a move that has drawn sharp criticism. The decision follows recommendations from a committee formed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Alternative locations for protests in the national capital have been identified as Ramlila Ground, Burari Ground, and CBD Ground in Shahdara. Jantar Mantar has been a focal point for youth-led protests concerning examination irregularities and electoral issues.
