15th All India Police Archery Meet Begins in Ranchi

The 15th All India Police Archery Competition commenced in Ranchi on Thursday, featuring 432 participants from 29 teams representing state police forces and central paramilitary organisations. Athletes are competing in recurve, compound, Indian round, and team events over five days. Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar inaugurated the event, highlighting archery's role in developing concentration and patience. He also stressed the importance of physical and mental fitness for police personnel and cautioned citizens about rising cybercrime, particularly fraudulent APK file challans. Jharkhand is hosting the championship for the third time.

15वीं अखिल भारतीय पुलिस तीरंदाजी प्रतियोगिता गुरुवार को रांची में शुरू हुई, जिसमें राज्य पुलिस बलों और केंद्रीय अर्धसैनिक संगठनों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाली 29 टीमों के 432 खिलाड़ी भाग ले रहे हैं। एथलीट पांच दिनों तक रिकर्व, कंपाउंड, इंडियन राउंड और टीम स्पर्धाओं में प्रतिस्पर्धा कर रहे हैं। झारखंड के राज्यपाल संतोष कुमार गंगवार ने इस आयोजन का उद्घाटन किया, जिसमें एकाग्रता और धैर्य विकसित करने में तीरंदाजी की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला गया। उन्होंने पुलिस कर्मियों के लिए शारीरिक और मानसिक फिटनेस के महत्व पर भी जोर दिया और नागरिकों को बढ़ते साइबर अपराध, विशेष रूप से धोखाधड़ी वाले एपीके फाइल चालान के बारे में आगाह किया। झारखंड तीसरी बार चैंपियनशिप की मेजबानी कर रहा है।
