Retired Lab Technician Dies After Jumping Before Moving Train in Kanpur

A 69-year-old retired lab technician, Rajkishor Rastogi, died after allegedly jumping in front of a moving train at Govindpuri railway station in Kanpur on Saturday. Rastogi, who had retired from LPS Institute of Cardiology eight years ago, had left home claiming he was going to buy medicines. His family stated he had been suffering from asthma and was stressed due to lack of relief from treatment. The Government Railway Police identified him via documents and sent his body for a post-mortem examination. Further investigation into the incident is ongoing.

कानपुर के गोविंदपुरी रेलवे स्टेशन पर शनिवार को 69 वर्षीय रिटायर्ड लैब टेक्नीशियन राजकिशोर रस्तोगी की चलती ट्रेन के सामने कूदने से मौत हो गई। आठ साल पहले LPS Institute of Cardiology से रिटायर्ड हुए रस्तोगी दवा खरीदने जाने की बात कहकर घर से निकले थे। उनके परिवार ने बताया कि वह अस्थमा से पीड़ित थे और इलाज से राहत न मिलने के कारण तनाव में थे। गवर्नमेंट रेलवे पुलिस ने दस्तावेजों से उनकी पहचान की और शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया। घटना की आगे की जांच जारी है।
