Bihar Minister Shravan Kumar stated that the Vishwa Shanti Stupa in Rajgir symbolises the spiritual friendship between India and Japan, alongside a shared commitment to world peace. He addressed the stupa's 57th foundation day, noting it was conceived by Japanese monk Fuji Guruji to spread messages of peace and non-violence globally. Kumar emphasized the stupa's role as a centre for peace and urged its preservation for future generations. He also highlighted the development of religious and cultural sites, including improved tourism facilities, which have enhanced Rajgir's international profile.

विश्व शांति स्तूप भारत-जापान की आध्यात्मिक मित्रता का प्रतीक

बिहार के मंत्री श्रवण कुमार ने कहा कि राजगीर में स्थित विश्व शांति स्तूप भारत और जापान के बीच आध्यात्मिक मित्रता और विश्व शांति के साझा संकल्प का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने स्तूप के 57वें स्थापना दिवस पर संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि इसे जापानी भिक्षु फुजी गुरुजी ने दुनिया भर में शांति और अहिंसा के संदेश फैलाने के लिए बनवाया था। कुमार ने शांति केंद्र के रूप में स्तूप की भूमिका पर जोर दिया और भविष्य की पीढ़ियों के लिए इसके संरक्षण का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक स्थलों के विकास पर भी प्रकाश डाला, जिसमें बेहतर पर्यटन सुविधाएं शामिल हैं, जिससे राजगीर की अंतरराष्ट्रीय पहचान बढ़ी है।
