Eastern Railway's Sealdah division held a coordination meeting with state police and Kolkata Traffic Police to strategize crowd management and security for the upcoming Durga Puja festival. Key discussions included passenger flow, holding areas, platform segregation, and police deployment. Approximately 270 retired servicemen will be hired to enhance security, with additional volunteers on foot overbridges and level crossings. The parking area outside Sealdah station will be closed to, and subways will be kept clear of vendors.

पूर्वी रेलवे के सियालदह डिवीजन ने आगामी दुर्गा पूजा उत्सव के लिए भीड़ प्रबंधन और सुरक्षा की रणनीति बनाने हेतु राज्य पुलिस और कोलकाता ट्रैफिक पुलिस के साथ एक समन्वय बैठक आयोजित की। प्रमुख चर्चाओं में यात्री प्रवाह, होल्डिंग एरिया, प्लेटफॉर्म अलगाव और पुलिस की तैनाती शामिल थी। सुरक्षा बढ़ाने के लिए लगभग 270 सेवानिवृत्त सैनिकों को काम पर रखा जाएगा, साथ ही फुट ओवरब्रिज और लेवल क्रॉसिंग पर अतिरिक्त स्वयंसेवक भी होंगे। सियालदह स्टेशन के बाहर पार्किंग क्षेत्र को बंद कर दिया जाएगा, और सबवे को विक्रेताओं से मुक्त रखा जाएगा।
