Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Manoj Jha has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of being in a hurry to weaken its ally, the Janata Dal (United). This statement comes after two Independent Members of the Legislative Council, who won their seats in the Bihar Legislative Council elections, joined the BJP. Jha announced that the RJD would approach the Bihar Legislative Council chairman and the Election Commission to seek the disqualification of these MLCs, citing rules against independent members joining political parties.
