HPNLU Student Attempts Suicide Alleging Ragging and Harassment by Peers and Staff

HPNLU student allegedly attempted suicide by cutting a vein on his hand, accusing fellow students and university staff of harassment and ragging. The student, Nikhil Prakash, is undergoing treatment and had previously complained to university authorities and teachers without action. He claimed to have filed complaints about ragging earlier and possessed evidence, including CCTV footage. The university stated an inquiry is underway and all complaints will be examined under applicable rules. Police are investigating the matter.
