Takshashila University Welcomes New MBBS Batch With Induction Ceremony

Takshashila University recently organised an induction ceremony for its 2026 batch of MBBS students at Ongur, near Tindivanam. University Chancellor M. Dhanasekaran encouraged students to focus on understanding fundamental concepts through structured study, rather than rote learning, and assured support for research and innovation. Vice-Chancellor Vivek Inder Kocchar emphasised the importance of time management, continuous learning, and sharpening clinical skills. The Dean presented the annual report, highlighting faculty development, research initiatives, and efforts to secure new accreditations.
