Students Urged to Understand Biodiversity Heritage

National Biodiversity Authority member Cherukuri Venkateswara Prasad urged students to gain a deeper understanding of biodiversity and conserve it. This call came during an awareness programme on 'Seshachalam – A Living Heritage of Biodiversity' at Sri Venkateswara University in Tirupati. The university is organizing a week-long series of awareness programmes for students, researchers, and faculty. These events aim to highlight the importance of biodiversity, culture, and traditions, marking Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary.
