JDU Expels MLA Anant Singh For Six Years Over Anti-Party Activities

The Janata Dal (United) has expelled its MLA, Anant Singh, from the party for six years and immediately revoked his primary membership. This action follows Singh's repeated violation of party directives, use of insulting language against the leadership, and campaigning for a rival candidate in the recent Bihar Legislative Council elections. Singh had openly supported Jan Suraj Party candidate Anuj Singh, defying the JDU's official nominee. The expulsion comes after Singh criticized the ruling party and its candidate, alleging mistreatment despite his past support.

जनता दल (यूनाइटेड) ने अपने विधायक अनंत सिंह को पार्टी से छह साल के लिए निष्कासित कर दिया है और उनकी प्राथमिक सदस्यता तुरंत रद्द कर दी है। यह कार्रवाई सिंह द्वारा बार-बार पार्टी के निर्देशों का उल्लंघन करने, नेतृत्व के खिलाफ अपमानजनक भाषा का इस्तेमाल करने और हाल के बिहार विधान परिषद चुनावों में एक प्रतिद्वंद्वी उम्मीदवार के लिए प्रचार करने के बाद हुई है। सिंह ने जदयू के आधिकारिक उम्मीदवार के बावजूद जन सुराज पार्टी के उम्मीदवार अनुज सिंह का खुलकर समर्थन किया था। यह निष्कासन सिंह द्वारा सत्तारूढ़ दल और उसके उम्मीदवार की आलोचना करने के बाद आया है, जिसमें उन्होंने अपने पिछले समर्थन के बावजूद दुर्व्यवहार का आरोप लगाया था।
